Who controls the information?
JS Freight Solutions is a trading division of JS Transport Solutions Ltd. Contact: hello@jstransport.uk.
What we collect
When you request a freight quote, contact us or apply as a carrier, we collect the information you enter in the relevant form. This can include your name, company, contact details, freight details, operator licence information, vehicle information, operating areas and insurance expiry information.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond to your request, source or manage transport, assess carrier applications, maintain business records, prevent fraud and support legitimate operational and compliance controls. We do not treat a freight quote request as consent to unrelated marketing.
Website analytics and campaign tracking
The forms record basic campaign fields such as UTM source, campaign, landing page and referrer when those values are available. This helps us understand which marketing activity generated an enquiry. The launch bundle does not install third-party advertising cookies by default.
How long information is kept
Operational and commercial records may need to be retained for business, tax, contract, claims or legal purposes. Carrier records may be retained while the business is approved or under review and for a reasonable period afterwards. Enquiries that do not progress should be reviewed and deleted when no longer needed.
Sharing information
Freight information may be shared with prospective or appointed carriers where necessary to quote or perform a movement. We do not sell personal data. Information may also be shared with professional advisers, insurers, service providers or authorities where there is a lawful reason to do so.
Your rights
UK data-protection law gives individuals rights over their personal information, subject to legal exceptions. To ask what information we hold, request a correction or raise a privacy concern, contact hello@jstransport.uk.
Security
The bundled website stores submissions in a server-side data folder protected from direct web access and protects the Control Tower behind a password. Your hosting environment, backups and server permissions still need to be maintained securely.
